Steam Reforming of Methan over Ni based Catalyst |

The Influence of time on stream, S/C molar ratio and temperature on the steam reforming of CH4 over Ni-based catalysts for fuel processor applications was investigated. The supported nickel catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and characterized by N2 physisoprtion, CO chemisorption, XRD and TPR. It was found that the modified Ni-based catalyst in the steam reforming of CH4 was showed higher catalytic activity and stability than the other catalyst. It was suggested that modified Ni-based catalyst may be used as an alternatives option of the commercial ICI reforming catalyst for fuel processor applications. |
