Nanostructured metals are able to tune their optical and physical properties depending on the size, shape and morphology. Through structure control, nanostructures can be used as catalysts, biomedical treatments or sensors. Many fabrication methods (e.g.electrodeposition, seed growth and galvanic replacement) have been developed to achieve these various nanostructures. For the selective decoration of the channel, galvanic replacement has been considered as an appropriate method for decorating. Since it is based on a chemical reaction, second metals are decorated only on targeted spot. In this study, we decorated second metal on high aspect ratio thin channel for highly sensitive gas sensor. Noble metal doping on CuO channel can lead to an enhanced adsorption of target gas and can provide more site to react in a given time. In this paper, morphology & component analysis of decorated Pt particle was experimented on different precursor concentration conditions. |
