Bulkheterojunction polymer solar cells (PSCs) have attracted attention because of low cost manufacturing process, promising transparency, and capability for application in lightweight devices. In order to improve the power conversion efficiencty (PCE) of PSCs, new conjugated polymers have been synthesized as the electron donor or accpetor. Furthermore, introducing interlayers between electrode and active layer can improve the PCE. In this research, we used a ZnO nanofilm doped with a viologen derivative (V-2OH) as the cathode of an inverted PSCs which is used to provide a simple modification method of ZnO workfunction for effective collection of electron. This modification has increased of the short-circuit current in the OSCs, leading to an overall improve in PCE. Herein we investigate the effect of viologen derivatives on photovoltaic performances. |
