Well-dispersed bimetal Cu-Pd nanoparticles hybridized Bi2WO6 ultrathin nanosheets for improved photocatalytic hydrogen evolution under solar light |
초록 |
Herein, we report the bimetal Cu-Pd nanoparticles decorated Bi2WO6 photocatalysts were synthesized by an ultra-sonication method. Cu-Pd/Bi2WO6 material produced the higher H2 production under artificial solar light irradiation in glycerol: water mixtures, which is due to the well-dispersed and closely connected Cu-Pd nanoparticles with Bi2WO6. The proposed reaction mechanism based on the interfacial cooperation between bimetallic Cu-Pd nanoparticles and ultra-thin Bi2WO6 nanosheets was proposed to illustrate the photocatalytic reaction process, where the holes accumulate in Bi2WO6 and H2 generated on bimetallic nanoparticles synergistically promote the photocatalytic H2 evolution. |
