제목 Facile electrochemical synthesis of heterostructured amorphous-Sn@CuxO nanowire anode for Li-ion batteries with high stability and rate-performance
초록 We prepare the heterostructured copper oxide nanowires decorated with amorphous Sn for a potential application as anode in Li-ion battery. For doing so, Cu anodization and Sn electrodeposition are employed. The copper oxide is used not only as an active material but also as a structural framework. Owing to the Li-conversion mechanism of copper oxide, the current Sn-decorated copper oxide nanowire presents an improved discharge capacity at extended cycles. In addition, the nanowire electrode exhibits a moderate recovering ability, showing an electrochemical stability. The heterogeneous structure of the electrode and the Cu nodes that are intentionally formed during fabrication are the key factors in this study, which ultimately contribute to increase the power density and the energy density of the battery.
