제목 Microarray of polystyrene beads using a removable polymer microtemplate on an adhesive thin layer
초록 It describes the new fabrication method of polystyrene(PS) bead array on the UV-curable acrylate adhesive layer spun-cast on a glass surface. As a removable template we used micropatterns of soluble polymer, which was wynthesized by free radical polymerization of PEG branched MMA monomers. PDMS stamp inked with the polymer solution in ethanol and water mixture created a microtemplate for the PS bead attachment and the array was easily fabricated by removing the template in solvent. The adhesiveness of substrate was characterized by testing its adhesion performance in terms of microbead attachment and probe tack. We found that the adhesiveness was closely related to the UV dose. The effect of UV doses on the adhesion and the quality of template formation was investigated. With a UV dose of 40~140 mJ/cm2. the highly resolved PS bead array was stably obtained even after a harsh ultrasonication process.
