제목 | Preparation of Benzoxazole-Tethered Metal-Organic Frameworks through Post- Synthetic Modification |
초록 | Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) could have organic functional groups in their pores, and the chemical property and environment are directly related with functional group. Various functional groups such as amino, nitro, halo, hydroxy have introduced in MOFs through ligand functionalization, in addition, the chemical handles in MOFs could be converted to other functionalities in the solid-state manner, which called post-synthetic modification (PSM). Benzoxazole is bicyclic fused heteroaromatic compounds with N, O atoms. The C-H bond between N and O atoms has low pKa value than general C-H bonds in arene rings. However, benzoxazole functionalizations are relatively unknown in MOF chemistry. In this work, a new PSM strategy for introducing benzoxazole-tethered MOF has been investigated. When the MOFs have two reactive sites, cyclization was successfully performed through chemical connection between two sites. The detail strategies and characterizations of MOFs will be presented. |
