We have synthesized a series of dendritic porphyrin sensitizers ([CO2H]16-G2PZn,[CO2H]4-G2PZn,[CO2H]8-G1PZn,[CO2H]2-G1PZn) having different number of carboxyl groups at the surface of dendritic wedges. All dendritic porphyrins were fully characterized by using 1H-NMR, MALDI-TOF-MS, UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. Under AM 1.5G solar conditions, we found that the power conversion efficiency of DSSc depended on the number and shape of dendritic ligands, where the [CO2H]8-G1PZn showed the highest conversion efficiency among dendritic porphyrin sensitizers. Along this result, we address the adsorption and desorption behaviors dendritic porphyrin sensitizers on TiO2. |
