Study on CHN-PLLA Hybrid Scaffold for Bone Regeneration |
초록 |
Bone-related damages and diseases seriously affect the daily activity which will deteriorate the quality of the patient. Autologous implants will be effective for the promotion of restoration of the damage but require additional surgery which will potentially increase the possibility of bacterial infection. In order to avoid these problematic procedures, artificial synthetic tissue substitutes can be highly recommendable. CHN is natural and biodegradable polymer and widely used in tissue engineering applications. In order to improve the properties of CHN, we hybridized CHN with PLLA to prepare 3D porous scaffold for bone replacement. The characteristics of the CHN/PLLA hybrid scaffold were analytically examined and bioactivity using osetosarcoma cells. We expect that this scaffold can be a potential candidate for bone substitutes. |
